125 Inspections for license?

Hi guys,

I’m intending to obtain my New Hampshire license and then start my own business. However, today I was having a home that I’m selling inspected by another interNACHI inspector, who informed me that to begin with, the only entry into this field is through a sponsoring company, and that I would have to complete 125 home inspections with them before being allowed to take the state exam. Does anyone know if this is correct information?

The guy is full of crap.

Thanks Stephen. You are so funny…and you’ve just made my day

And from the State Website:

No mention of 125 inspections in either of those links. That was very kind of you to post those links, they are a big help. Thanks again Stephen.

That sounds more like Appraiser licensing requirements. Are you sure you weren’t talking to an Appraiser?
