Hi Todd,
Great pictures, that place is in tough shape even the new bits are not done well, and what's with the roof I'm asuming that it is a later addition ? Did you scare the buyers off, I'd love to know more about this place.

Gerry,
The roof appears to be a NEW 1940's addition could not get in the attic though it was bolted shut, painted shut and nailed shut ![icon_smile.gif](upload://b6iczyK1ETUUqRUc4PAkX83GF2O.gif)
The buyers are two young Ladies that really just wanted an extra pair of eyes to look at the home. This is not the first old Adobe they have renovated and from what I could tell they aren't' scared in the least. The home is in a very old part of town near the city center. Even the 1 bedroom houses go for 3 times the amount of similar homes in other areas of the city. The inside walls and ceiling were in emaculent shape but, it is still going to cost them in the neiborhood of 25-35 thousand depending on what they want to do with the place. They told me they would call me during the renovation to have a look at what was going on. I can't wait!!!
It was probably the most fun I have had Inspecting a house.

Hi Todd,
I am very jelous of your opportunity to inspect that place, as love love old strange properties. it also sounds like they buyers were real good good deal with and had a sensible take on what they were doing. great story, next time you have one of them I'll have to fly down to take a look that would be a blast.
Shame about the lack of realtors as I would love to have read the listing description of this "Sought after historic handyman special" ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)
