You know that I worked for an electrical distributor for 5 years and in those years I have never seen a 3/4 inch acorn!

Maybe we should put that one into Ripleys! ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)

Say What?

Holy *#%* Joe and Joe we / I use these often, it is rare for me to buy 5/8" x 8' rods, usually 3/4" x 8' or sometimes 3/4" x 10' rods.

Why? Job and power company specs often ask for 3/4" x 10' rods and if left up to me I ask for 3/4" x 8's habit I guess.

Also I usually have cad weld molds for 2 AWG to 3/4" rod and if I have the supplies I cadweld instead of acorns.

You might want to explain a Cadweld to the others.

Originally used for the rail industry.
