Rolla OR Waynesville?
Did you used to go to Zeno’s steakhouse?

Maybe 25 yrs ago went to enter house to do an inspection. Was gonna put on soft slippers as I normally did once inside BUT the agent insisted that sellers were oriental AND we had to go with just socks. I dumbly did and in the clutter in 1 room I ended up with a rusty nail in the foot.
Finished the inspection went to an ER, got a tetanus shot but could not stand on that foot for 4-5 days (lost work). After that it became … SORRY folks I’ll put booties OVER my boots BUT thats as far as I’ll go … Take it or Don’t !!
Can’t tell you how many PINS, NEEDLES, and such I’ve stepped on in the carpeting of little old lady sewing/quilting/craft rooms over the years!!
I also do as you do… I always wear rubber sole, non-marring, Mukluks (slippers), and wear covers when necessary over my slippers.
I’ve had a few Realtors that complained, until I started telling them my Insurance requires my wearing foot protection as part of my PPE Safety Program.
Have never had a complaint since!
We had to remove carpet from an obvious “sewing” room to install some laminate flooring a week or so ago. Pins and needles everywhere.
Why would the manufacturer put a 90° degree, 1" inch protruding plastic strap at the bottom of the top sash? Some sort of inner drip cap?
i find that’s about the only, or at least the easiest, way to put the top back up, os it’s a handle.
Ouch! Thanks for the heads up!
