Problem with the range at my house, it has an output of around 55 volts coming out of the burners and around the knob area. It is a three prong configuration (120, 120 and neutral). Any ideas on what could be causing this? There is a ground attached to the rear of the stove, but is not connected to anything at the end. I checked for continuity in the ground, but there wasn’t any.

There’s your problem then.

Floating ground means no reference and the voltage will drift.

Ground it and watch that voltage snap right to 110.
