Main distribution cutoff rating

Can anyone tell me what size this main cutoff rating is? Appears to me to be 200amps?

What size are the Breakers if they are 100 amp then yes it is a 200 amp service .
Should be marked on the top of the breakers under the cross bar

Thanks Roy. I couldn’t tell. Searched for make and size based on 22ka and couldn’t find a definitive answer. No markings indicating on bar or breaker.

22ka is the aic rating of the circuit breaker. Looks like 200 amps from the condcutors feeding the CB.

Those are GE breakers.

How can that be if have a handle tie?

They usually can be snapped off and then snapped back on .

So are you saying if they are separated they have a 100 amp rating and combined they have a 200 amp rating?

No I said .

This is how it is Manufactured ,and I do not change things

They look to me like a a single, multi-pole breaker, common trip. If one of the 4 trips, they all trip.

The rating stamped on a quad unit is the rating for the entire breaker, not for half.

If a 100 amp is stamped it’s a 100, if 200 amp is stamped it’s a 200 amp breaker.

I’m confident the one posted is a 200 amp.

If it is not marked on the handle then it is not a breaker but a molded case switch.
Having what looks like four breakers as this one does not mean to add anything.

Refer it to an electrician

Thanks all. Nothing stamped indicating rating.
