a city housing inspector asked me to check out a deck that he had seen on a three-family tenement. He said, in what turned out to be an understatement, “Something doesn’t look right.”
Apparently the AHJ couldn’t. 
Always nitpicking my work! Sheeesh!
Yep, even in Florida we’d write that up if we could see it from the beach, if for nothing else than being ugly!
