Were the shingles just draped over the edge, or was that an architectural shape of the roof? If it were architectural, unless it leaked, I’m no sure what comments would be appropriate.
Mark, it appears to be structural. I have been building and inspecting for 40 years and have never seen this type of roof before. New shingle application and quite well done. Just curious if this has been seen before by anyone. Dutch owners and I have been in the Netherlands but still in the dark.
Never seen it. Looks like a lot of work to do.
We have some locally like that that create a nice effect.
The rake is wrapped as well as the eaves.
I’ll see if I can get some pics next time I’m over there.
