I work almost always with realtors. Sometimes the buyer of the home I am inspecting is not able to be there to sign my Inspection Contract. I always email it to them to ask for a signature and I usually get it. Sometimes though I have a hard time getting it signed. So I came up with this clause:
If the person this inspection was prepared for was not present at the inspection to sign the Inspection Contract, then by reading it or using it for any reason, that person accepts the terms and conditions of the contract that was emailed along with the report.
Legal question: Will this afford me any protection in the event of a challenge?
Please answer this question ONLY of you are a lawyer or have pertinent knowledge.
