AirCheck Radon Testing with Homegauge

Hey Y’all,

I am currently taking the InterNACHI Radon Course. Just relocated my home inspection business form Los Angeles to Nashville Tennessee and I am now offering radon testing.

I’m planning on using passive methods to reduce startup cost for now.

Was wondering how satisfied others are with Homegauge AirCheck charcoal tests and also curious as to the method of placement i.e. thumbtacks on interior wall, spend from ceiling, some type of stand or tripod etc.

Thanks

Aircheck is fine to start with. I used them a long time ago. I had 10 of these $10 tripods. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J8RM35Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_WmtMybGVNHRGM

I removed the top, drilled a hole through it, put a threaded rod through and bolted it both sides. I hung the airchecks from that.

Aircheck became a pain in the *** though and I moved to crms.
