Would a home with aluminum wire be safer with a new panel that included arc fault breakers on all 120 volt circuits? Is arc fault approved for aluminum?
Yes on all questions.
Until they shake the bugs out of the “series” arc fault detector I am not sure how much protection it really is. Have they actually hit the street yet?
