I attended AHIT classes in 1995 and at that time they were very good. I believe that if you have a little knowledge of the trades thier class will provide you with the basic skills to beginn inspecting. I do think that you can get the tools for less money and get the ones that you like. the reporting software is what I use and like it alot, but I think any reporting software you start with and get at ease with will serve you well.

Hi to all,

Dan I would recommend that you look at firstly buying the training then shop around for the other goods and services that you require, no one vendors is strong in all areas, nor will their products like reporting systems always meet your needs.

I seldom make recommendations about training schools, but it would be a mistake based on your location not to look at the program put on by Tom Lauhon at Midwest Inspectors Institute. Tom is very well respected and held some great training for us at the convention last week.

Regards

Gerry
