TLDR: Another Trump supporter who committed crimes on Jan 6 was sentenced to 21 months in prison. He claimed a rough childhood but apologized to a Capitol police officer he assaulted. Prosecutors sought over 2 years in prison, saying he encouraged others and tried to steal police equipment. The officer said Weeks’ actions nearly got him killed and caused his family pain.
