Are Wind Mitigation reports transferrable from one owner to the next?

Hey everyone,
Is a Wind Mitigation report allowed to be given from the seller of a house to the buyer for insurance reductions, or must a new inspection be performed?

The last inspection was done within the year. Seller offered it up to the buyer. I didn’t know if it was acceptable or not…

They cannot change the name you put on it legally.

Agent may or may not accept it based on address. Who knows what they will do.

The agent usually will not accept it unless the name is changed.
