Asbestos is soil?

Im inspecting a home on Christmas Eve. The home seller/owner informed my client asbestos in the soil. I understand my SOP and what is within the scope. But does anyone have a recommendation about this?

Recommend that your client get the statement in writing (the disclosure) and let them know that there is no way to verify asbestos in the soil without testing in in a laboratory.

I wouldn’t want my kids playing in the dirt and breathing the stuff if it is true.

Is that where he dumped it all when he stripped it off of the Boiler pipes??

I would also mention to check the Seller Disclosure to see if it is mentioned, and what it says.
