And their highest level of membership requirements aren’t much better. For fool membership, ASHI only requires the passing of the same minimum standard, beginners exam (NHIE) that many states use to license newbies fresh out of school.
To do away with one position only to establish another one with the same functions is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. But, then I am not a member of the organization and don’t really have a dog in the fight.
