–what about the water intrusion in, at least, 2 different areas, vaguely important isn’t it?

Ya sure/certain they are OLD leaks, huh?
Is there a crack etc in the basement wall, huh? Better look close man.
Did ya leave that hollow, thin floor garbage like that? Did he figure out, identify why somebody did that? Come on man.

That chimney area/leak, up high… didn’t hear what the problem(s) was.
How were, where were, duh termites and rats getting in

Wouldn’t enclose all that sht in until your absolutely certain there is NO water intrusion problem(s).

Don’t need a structural engineer there, just need a builder that knows what the hell he is looking at.

Termites, mold and rats, hell, what a combination. Makes me think of a house that leaks with open doors.

Yep!

Geesh, put up a temporary support wall, make the stupid repairs and rebuild the wall that is there. Take down the temporary wall.
Need a structural engineer for that?

what fun is there in that partner ?..this way they get to make it look like a lot of extra work…

Yep, one big money making scheme for some, ain’t it?

and all that extra lumber…

 thanks for the input gentz
