many homeowner don’t file complaints, no they don’t. complaints include, -mislead and pressured to sign confusing contract -unauthorized inspections… -waterproofing system did not solve saturated walls as salesman promised -damaged driveway -refused to honor supposed lifetime warranty -unsatisfactory crawlspace work -signed agreement for $18,000 waterguard system, changed our mind now they won’t refund $5,000 depost Hey R Young and other INT system azz kissers, how PROFESSIONAL is this company screwing over many homeowners? just a lil update, let’s see here lol, Ayers Basement Systems according to BBB has at least 51 complaints [https://www.bbb.org/us/mi/grand-rapids/profile/waterproofing-contractors/ayers-basement-systems-0372-24000148/complaints#256107421](https://www.bbb.org/us/mi/grand-rapids/profile/waterproofing-contractors/ayers-basement-systems-0372-24000148/complaints#256107421) some complaints… ‘The company charged me $1,000 for permit and engineering review (scam engineer review BET YA) called city they never pulled one, the city said Ayers does this alot. Ayers put a helical pier under my porch pillar, finally inspected 2.5 months after job was done’. loll SCAM! ‘Ayers did not have work inspected by building authority, permit expired, had sump pump installed. Ayers never replied so i had inspection done, failed’ ‘Hired Ayers to encapsulate crawlspace, $23,000, needed to try n get the cost down limited budget, was told if we lost drain tile cost would come down to $16,000 and was told no drain tile will not be an issue. 4 months after work was done we still have water in crawlspace. They have been back 6 times and job still not done correctly.’ ‘George Carey from Ayers came to our home and gave us a quote $5,500 to install a sump pump and repair a crack in basement wall, he stated if we put down deposit that day, we’d get 5% off. We gave them $1,700 deposit. Another company then came out and said we did not need sump pump and quoted us $600. Ayers greatly oversold their product without finding the actual issue and so we canceled with Ayers and requested return of deposit. Ayers told us deposit is non-refundable. We felt heavily pressured to sign and feel deceived and misled.’ ‘Ayers installed piers under my porch and in doing so they drilled through my main sewer line, they deny responsibility…’ …and the beat goes on.
