What was the best thing you did for you business besides the obvious.
I must say that paying cash for everything up front. Reduced my monthly bills and saved money from interest. I started two years ago and It's worked for me.

The best thing I ever did was buy a franchise. Saved me thousands of dollars in trying to create excellent marketing materials and months and months of using something only to find out that it didn’t work. My franchisor’s Intranet and advice, input, and counsel from other franchisees allowed me to be up and running, and profitable, in three months for the same amount of money that that my four previous companies took 18 months to become profitable. The difference is that I had 15 months of profit with the franchise that I didn’t have when developing my own companies.
The cool thing about my franchise is that I always have instant access to marketing materials. No waiting for the printer to print them. No taking the printing back because they messed up the order. Etc. And my four-color brochures cost me 6? each. My royalties also are 9%, but 3% of that goes directly to advertising and marketing. And I get to tell them how to spend that 3%. So I use it on local marketing. Basically, it does not cost me anything anymore to do marketing and advertising. I like that.
Best things I ever did since buying the franchise is using the $20 Savings Certificate. Instant business.
