Boiler and hot water age?

Pre-listing inspection yesterday for an elderly couple. She was extremely nervous about the inspection, he always did maintenance on the house, but no has alzheimers and cant do or remember anything for the property disclosure.

Boiler is a New Yorker serial #64522870
Hot water heater is an Amtrol serila #71270

Help would be great and where you obtained the info. would be helpful for future use.

New Yorker has the date on a plate welded to the boiler (you have to unscrew the top jacket cover) OR a “YB” (year built) or serial number starting with a 2 digit year.
