This is a picture of a boiler for a heating system that I am doing a visual inspection of.
I performed a visual test of the gas fired boiler. First, I turned off power to the unit. All gas valves to the boiler were in an “on” position. The digital display read 62 degrees. I turned a thermostat to a high enough position to call for heat. I went back to the boiler and turned on the power. Ignition occurred almost immediately and the digital display reading started to rise indicating that the temperature of the boiler fluid was heating. The boiler seemed to be operating correctly.
