Hi Guys

Can you tell me all you know about a blue Bryant furnace? Supposed to be junk. My daughter has one in her house (built in 1960), and it’s probably the original one. I wrote it up to be replaced. She has a home warranty that will cover it, if it is defective. How can she get it covered?

Is it defective or just 45 years old and long overdue for replacement?

It works. But, after what this instructor said the other night, it’s a time bomb.

Most likely it is overdue replacement. However for peace of mind why not get a heating contractor that you trust remove the burners and blower and do an indepth inspection of the furnace.
