We are building a home in Florida and are required by the corps of engineers code to build on pilings. I have searched the web for different floor plans and can only come up with a few. They all look very similiar and I want something a little different. Does anyone have suggestions for my research?

You can build almost any home on pilings, as is done with many homes down here in South Florida.

You are probably searching for homes built on wood pilings, with the pilings running all the way up through the house.

Down here, even the high rise buildings are on pilings. There is no limit to the structure you can put on pilings. The smaller the home, the more costly the piling foundation will become in relation to the overall cost of the home.
