I did go to the sheriff sale and bought a foreclosed property. I was only able to look on the outside and through the windows. There ended up to be a water heater that was not properly winterized and the water lines in the basement needed to be replaced. I think I was very fortunate to only have those couple of problems. You must do your due diligent s, there can be unpaid bills that are also on the property.
I am glad I am learning about home inspections, and what to look for in more detail. I will be able to notice things that I may have overlooked.
