I’m in California and just found this bill randomly while searching for something else. I searched for this bill on the forum and found some similar bills referenced a couple years ago that died but nothing on this one.

I see that it was introduced on February 18, 2021 and is supposed to commence on January 1, 2023. The bill appears to establish the Bureau of Home Inspectors in the Department of Consumer Affairs and also start requiring California home inspectors to be licensed.
The “Status” link on this page doesn’t really tell me if this bill has been enacted.
Curious if any of my fellow inspectors in California or any of our Legal Eagles have been following the bill or have any additional information on whether or not this bill has been enacted or may become enacted.
