The best part about that one was the builder’s rep trying to tell me “that’s normal”. And then he went and messed with the irrigation timer box, and told me “it’s fixed now”, and yet the meter was still spinning like mad.
Finally, I showed the buyers agent that everything in the house was off. The irrigation was off. Nothing was on, and yet the meter was still spinning. Only then could she get the builder’s rep to admit “there is a problem”.
The buyers thought this one issue alone was worth the inspection fee, though there were other issues as well.
