Found this on American Standard web site: From 1948 to 1968 the name had a hyphen, as in American-Standard. in 1968 they dropped the hyphen. The # and series shown in your pix does not conform to any of their 5 styles of identification. However, based on your picture it would be between 74 and 54 years old.

Really Really Really old appliances are stamped with standard date code of nomenclature B-J12, for “Before Jesus and the 12 disciples”. Many years later the code was abbreviated to the shorter BC, for “Before Christ”.
Looks like you have one of those Really Really Really old ones there. 7 B-J12
