Can someone identify this valve?

You are correct and thank you Michael.
Time to get rid of the red again please.

Did Roy get rid of his most recent attack?

I have not looked

PVC ball valves also come in dark gray. This valve is PVC with unions. The only thing that comes to mind is that this is some sort of water drain release.

Oops, didn’t read the other posts…

If it’s gray PVC, it is schedule 80 which would indicate a supply line.

Nope.

Schedule 40 spec:

Nope.

Michael, scroll down to the white on gray tab titled: “Additional Information” http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/GF-PIPING-SYSTEMS-Ball-Valve-1CMC9 I suspected a $166.25 valve had to be schedule 80. It is. Must be supplying a spa or whirlpool.

Now if it is schedule 40, it’s a DWV valve to close a normally dry trap.

Nope it is black because everyone that sells here is cream colored or black. Only gray ones are for Electrical. We are not prejudice but I have just not seen dark gray here.

Wrong.

Get a new computer monitor and calibrate the colors.

Man you are fast!!! I just put it up and deleted it. I wanted to see if the old Michael was lurking on the MB early in the morning. LOL
Remove the big red letters** ASAP**.
It most likely is dark gray like you say but Nick is also correct.
Lets move on from this and thanks for the correction.

Has Roy changed is behavior?

If he does I will relent.

He chose to start up again.

Its that simple

No it is not that simple. Many fights happen but do not need to be expressed on this MB. If it was Roy doing this I would say the same thing.

Have you contacted Roy?

Tell us what he said.

Yes it is absolutely that simple

There was peace.

Roy decided to throw crap.

I responded.

It is what it is.

Another HI-JACKED thread .
What a shame.
