They are REALLY gross!
It’s still the Caribou ranch and Guercio is still there. He has a family compound on about 15,000 acres. The studio burned down quite a while ago.
His ranch is a big local draw for elk hunters. The elk know they’re safe on the ranch and during hunting season, that’s where they stay.
Hunters come down to the ranch property lines and try to bugle the bulls out.
Sometimes they go in after them.
Steven Stills, Dan Fogulberg, Joe Walsh, a lot of (now) old time rockers lived up here in the early 70’s. No police. Its a marshal and deputies.
The highlight of the year is Frozen Dead Guy Days.
