Am I correct that this is a double insulated canned light and does not need clearance from the blown in insulation?

Dave,


If I am not mistaken you can not cover the top of the can light with insulation but the sides is alright to come in direct contact with the insulation. That would be for the IC rated cans, the other cans you can not contact at all.

I just wanted to clear that up for those that don't know.
