Black Michel same as your attitude.
HA HA HA
Did I say I agree with it. NO!!!
I’ll make sure to come to you in the future as you are convinced you have teh only right answer.
Robert. Man up.
Marcel will be along soon and we will start all over again since you started up this discussion again. LOL
Do not understand Michel?
Man up?
Admit when you are wrong:roll:
Sure Michel.
Too?
Sorry if I am on the computer to ong today. 8 hours so far.
Help me please.
Well, we sure have discussed a block pier to death by now and no matter if it looks like this
or not, unless there are signs of sagging, breaking of the pier, I would probably leave it alone and just mention that the pier would be better if it were capped with full bearing pressure treated lumber to utilize the full capacity of the hollow block.
Now hope we can put this one to sleep.
I may be wrong, but this won’t be the first time. Remember the definition of experience. (a whole bunch of mistakes, and I have a lot of that.)

Robert O will have to explain it to you
Sorry for the black attitude thing.
I only said that Robert was on fire because of his ability to find fact.
Thats all.
I see no wrong or right in any of my or the message board statements Michel.
Simple open desucion on a block gurder support.
We see them all the time. Code veries in Canada and the staes.
Hope you are not misinterpreting anything.
PS: My dress is pink today so my giil frend does not have to remove my pants.
Only my panties.

Dear stop it now I am talking to someone.
Now look what you have done Miche. Dam Mr Johnson is soar as heell.l She wants me for the fifth time today.
Dam I will never get any work done at this rate.
You fault sir.
Man up Michel.
Happy?
Happiness is a fleeting state of mind.
Joy is for ever.![]()
No actually Joy is Debbie’s friend. Remember at the at the Christmas party when everyone was feeling Marry.
She left so everyone jumped for JOY.
HA HA HA.
Michel as I build up my evadence to your bias behavior, remember you challenged me… I see you love to come and assert a negative suspect behavior on Canadian INACHI members.
I am not being or saying anything in that is stereotyping or negative… Just pointing out your behavor… Hmmm.
Like the dress thing Michel.
Like digs or full blown tantrums.
I just thought it was funny that you posted a code section that directly contradicted your pier orientation and snap theory, without rethinking your position or finding some other industry standards or documentation to support it … which don’t exist.
I don’t think Marcel will be here to save the day for you, as he seems to be on board now with the rest of us that the pier cap is the real issue, not orientation.
Marcel is a very sharp builder and inspector, and I have a lot of respect for him. We are both pretty set in our opinions, but through meaningful debate can still learn from each other over the many years we have both been on this board.
Nice picture Marcel does this come from one of your inspections or a build you were on?
I would think that the tops of these were filled with concrete.
Here are some more pictures to stretch out this discussion on proper orientation. I am hoping to hit all time high of 1000 posts. Don’t quit now Robbert O you are on a roll.
Deficiencies.
No cement cap.
No termite shields.
Moisture stains.
Bad bearing point.
Looks like the ones in the worst condition are running parallel to the beams …
