Built in vacs were popular 20 years ago but have faded with newer more powerful vacs (Dyson). I have built in because less noise and small dust but gave it up for Dyson like with HEPA. Mine discharged to garage. There was very slight dust but it was not bad. Would go to exterior of garage if I could. I still use mine for the car. I see them so infrequently I just say “not inspected” and no one cares.
My preference:
Central Vac with muffler located in Utility Room vented outside and make-up air for air-tight houses.
Incorrect. Not the same at all.
