Check out this Coldwell Banker site and click the “For Sellers Only” link at left and then click “sellers tips” and then click “Pre-listing inspections.”
Also check out "Find a Nationally Certified Home Inspector" link on the font page.

Some CB offices are owned by NRT.
I went through the process of becoming an "approved" inspector. I'e gone to the local CB office on numerous occasions. They eat my bagels, listen to a 5 minute schpeel, and act like cows staring at a passing train.
I'd LOVE NACHI to be "the way to go" for CB. To date, I've never received a single question or referral from them, despite my "authorized" status.
I hope this guy doesn't get fired for recommending NACHI guys be used.

Coldwell Banker has been pretty good to NACHI. Even though they have a Concierge program where other inspectors have to pay to be on their site, they still list www.FindAnInspector.US (a NACHI inspector search engine) on any site I ask them to.
By the way... don't ever pay to be on their website. I was a Coldwell Banker agent once and we never used the inspectors in our own Concierge program. Agents are all independent contractors that do what they want and refer the inspectors they want.

Nick,
I recently had a conversation with the Caldwell Banker - West Shell "Corporate Concierge" office in Montgomery OH. I was shocked that they wished for me to hand them $400.00 to participate in their program. An agent that I do work with suggested that I talk to them since they are told not to refer HI but to refer them to the concierge due to their personal liability.
During the conversation with the Concierge it was surprising that she referenced that this would generate approximately 18 leads per year ($22 per lead) this is not inspections booked.
The flip side of this is I do work with several other agents south of the river in KY and have not had any issue to date.
Of on another tangent: How does the realtors/brokers ethics come into play when they are receiving kick backs for referrals for HI's? This is the way I see the $400.
Any thoughts?

According to NRT and CB, Concierge DOES NOT include home inspectors. They gor in lots of trouble in Florida over this and abandoned it. If you go to the Concierge site, home inspections are not offered services. You guys better chech this out…
