That’s great!

However, when I was testing out this link, a strange thing happened.

I entered "Saint Joseph, Michigan" and I get this...

Sorry, the location you specified is not in our database!

It appears that the City/State or Zip Code you specified cannot be found in our database. please check your spelling and try again.

You searched for "Saint. Joseph, MI" - If you are certain that this location does exist, please contact our webmaster.

But... when I use the zip code lookup, then it comes up showing 4 inspectors.
TWO who I might add, are 60 miles or more, away.

Anyone else experience this with entering city and state?

Larry,

It's because of the period you put after "saint"

Try:
http://www.findaninspector.us/search.php?search_ENGINE=city_state&amp DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;city=Saint+Joseph&state=MI&radius=20

I didn't put a period after "saint". A period would only go after saint if it was abbreviated. Such as St. Joseph. I spelled out "saint"

But if you went to the link Nick showed, and it worked for you, then I obviously did something wrong those first three times I tried it.

Thanks.

Larry,

The reason I suggested that you put a period after "saint" is that you have one in your original message:

Perhaps it was just an unnoticed typo? Go ahead and try again now and see if it works for you.

You're absolutely correct. I don't know how I typed that period in there, or how I overlooked it when that message came up.

thanks for pointing it out. It works OK now.
