If I become A CMI do I sill pay the monthly charge?

As far as I know. CMI designation is a one time fee, but your regular membership fee is still so much a year.

I am on retired status and yes it is worth it if you are still inspecting.

YES, unless you convert your InterNachi membership to the standard ANNUAL membership format!
Your InterNachi Membership and CMI are two different organizations, thus two different memberships.
The two membership fee’s are separate and are not connected.
