Completely hidden foundation

I thought I protected myself pretty well.......but.....after all this input it is quite clear, even to this nearsighted (but very handsome) old carpenter, that the underlined stuff should have been left out.

Last night after my last post, a dim little light went on in my cobwebbed head. Why are you guys all so careful? Why do you always limit yourselves to what can be seen?

You all have provided many more examples of situations like these, that could be hidden. Everything 'appears' fine.....until the moment it fails.... catastrophically.
