Is there any lawyers in here or do anyone know of a good lawyer that i can use to revise my contract. I want my contract to be loop hole free and something that removes all liability from me.
Good luck with that! ![]()
Cheers

When you find it, let me know. ![]()
In all seriousness, there will never be a contract that removes “all liability” from anyone, as anyone can sue anyone else, anytime, for anything.
Move to Florida where your personal possessions are mostly protected.
Contact your E&O provider. They will most likely have one for your state.
You don’t feel that you should have any personal responsibility for the inspections that you perform?
Good luck with that! There is no such thing. Courts and the laws of your state suffer from the same shifting goalposts of all states. They can never decide on language and it is constantly being re-interpreted by an ever lengthening succession of judges and lawyers.
As said above, no such thing. On the liability side, the professional is expected to be just that, the knowledgeable professional. That is why the client hired you. The courts and the law recognize that relationship. In the law, the innocent and wronged client receives more sympathy than the knowledgeable professional. That’s the reality of business.
If you are looking to remove all liability, you should search out employment with an inspection company, working as an employee, not a subcontractor.
Don’t let the naysayers kid you, Jason.
There is a bullet-proof agreement. Really most any one of them can be. The thing is, you can’t leave your bed or all bets are off.
I hope that gives you peace of mind. ![]()
And you will still need an Attorney to review your Employment Contract to help CYA, as the Employer is gonna cover their asses the best they can to protect them from your negligence also!
In this day and age who in their right mind would ever (and I mean ever) sign an employment contract to work for another home inspector? The whole notion is simply ludicrous. Anyone dumb enough to sign an employment contract is to dumb to perform whatever job exists, no? ![]()
ESPECIALLY… “In this day and age”!!
