Hi guys,

On my A/C, there is cold air blowing from the drip line. Is this ok? The drip line comes off the unit, has a little trap and a vertical pipe. When the unit is on, it’s blowing cool air right out of that pipe?! Thanks for the help

Sam,

No, it should not be doing that. That is indicating the trap is loosing its seal, allowing cool air to be blown pas it.

Needs a better trap. It probably does not have a 2" water seal seal trap, probably a running type trap.
