copper galvanized direct contact?

Is this a galvanic reaction area of concern? direct contact and water movement creating electron activity! what say you??

Absolutely.

Simply recommend separating all copper supply piping with a non-combustible material.

Funny, notice how the solder took on both metals. Doesn’t mean anything, but I rarely see the water lines soldered to the duct.
I agree with David. Any dissimilar metals (ferrous to non-ferrous). The copper pipe is non-ferrous and the duct is ferrous, even though it has a tin content.
You can solder steel if the tin content is high enough.

I’ve seen leaks in copper pipes for the exact same reason you illustrate. It will corrode and leak with time.

Yup!
