What is a good course or section to study for the state exam? I’m in NYC & I’m scheduled to take the exam Feb. 23rd.
So you have less than 2 weeks left? are you a fast learner?

Unless they changed it, the last time I took the NY state exam was based on 800 page book they give you in the HI school: principles of home inspections, and the NY HI law. I believe that is still the case.
The exam is multiple choice, based on the 140-hour pre-licensing curriculum.
Exam topics include: License law; report writing; heating, cooling and plumbing systems; insulation and ventilation; structural, exterior and interior components and electrical systems.
Applicants will be allowed 2 1⁄2 hours to complete the test.
