I’m a MAGA but Americans don’t need to pay more taxes that go to the federal government. They need to cut spending.

The ruling did not strike down the tariffs immediately, however, but instead keeps them in place until Oct. 14 to allow for the Trump administration to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Let us see if the Supreme Court abide by the law.
Note: Said tariffs were installed to pay for republicans’ over speeding. The United States’ national debt now is approximately $37.3 trillion as of late August 2025.
Republicans only think that deficits are a problem when Democratic presidents are in office.
Yet, when Republican presidents are in office, they substantially increase the deficit.
Just this year President Donald Trump’s domestic spending will add more than $4 trillion to the national debt over 10 years, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said this week.
Add to that the government accumulated $7.8 trillion of gross federal debt while President Trump was in office during his first term.
The only people being screwed are US citizens and the world under Trumponomics.
America will pay for this.

Even if all the tariffs were reversed today, much damage has already been done. Not only have we turned our best friends and allies against us, but many American businesses have already suffered great losses because of Trump.
This will end up at the SCOTUS, and if the past is prologue, they will allow him to continue to screw the country.

If the tariff money got to stay in our own communities, locally, I’d have a different opinion. I want to starve the federal government.
These countries were taking advantage of us and are very entitled.
Like children, they get upset when Daddy cuts off the credit card and kicks them out of the basement.
They raise their fist and wail. They plead their case to anyone that will listen.
China and Canada were the most petulant. But that is calming down now. I expect this trend to continue.

Federal taxes do get back to local communities, despite cuts to things like public broadcasting.
There is a $3M local economic development project going on right down the street from me partially paid for by federal funds. Albeit, the state lied about the purpose of the project to get the money. All MAGA politicians from the mayor to the governor to the congressmen.
My point, the federal government doesn’t operate in a vacuum.
