That’s just my opinion.
Read up on the fact that not one single accident has occured from falling off this type of rail and you are right more are from no supervision and moving furniture on decks which has nothing to do with the climbing issue.
That being said it is wise not to put them in areas that are tempting for little kids or areas that kids will not be unsupervised IMO.
