Most jurisdictions in CA don't even allow installation of diving boards in new pool construction. Many insurance companies won't write policies if you have a diving board and/or the older generation slides.

If you're recommending repairs, you may be leaving yourself wide open for future problems.

Do yourself a favor and consult your attorney on this one. You could lose more than just your business.

Amend your report to - "Removal of the diving board is advised."
