Do you call out Negative slope of the tub ledge?

Over splash out of the tub.

I recommend a trough drain around the entire perimeter of the tub.:slightly_smiling_face: Maybe a sign that says “if you splash water out of the tub the floor will get wet.”

Simon are you going to let soap up those hard to reach places too?

What little water on that ledge won’t amount to diddly and should be wiped dry after use anyways.
I would be more concerned about how do you change the faucets and spray if they go bad.?

I see that too often Marcel, Nice tub but no access to the plumbing!

I’d be calling that out way before water on that ledge.

On a sidenote I have never seen a Roman tub filler spout with a drain pull rod coming out of the spout. I wonder if these are widespread lavatory faucets mounted on a soaker tub?

Emil did you pull on the tub spout pop up drain rod coming out of the tub spout? Is there a diverter I don’t see for the hand held shower?
