Ooops forgot about that…
Maybe a door hanger that sells your services for their next home only. Personally I think most sellers will see your services as a threat instead of a benefit IMO.

Waste of time! Most sellers aren't concerned with a pre-sale inspection
I have not tried this, but aren't most seller going to buy soon? Meaning they will likely need an inspector then, not just for a presale one.
This is what I had in mind with the sellers as potential buyers!
I was thinking about starting the main headline as:
"Congratulations on your decision to purchase a new home",
or something to that affect.
Wondering if anyone has had success, under similar circumstances, with these doorhangers!

Not sure about door hangers as it costs $$ to drive around and stick in doors of those homes for sale, but I’ve been mailing out brochures to all homes for sale in my county with buyer points and seller points.
As was stated “sellers are buyers”.
Not sure how it will pay off, but I’m giving it a shot…even sent 25% of them out with a promotional discount if they mention the brochure to see what gains the most hits.

John…
Without saying the idea is good or bad as a marketing tool I do have to say that I detest door hanger advertising and "boycott" any company that advertises that way. People go out of their way to stop the papers and mail when they're away, so that their home doesn't advertise their absence, only to have these sleazy companies hang "Burgle Me" signs on the front doors. (Don't take that personally)
It might work for some, but you wouldn't get my business that way, now or at any time in the future. Use the mail like Kevin. Seems a lot more professional than associating yourself with pizza chains and landscaping services.

I would have to agree with that. I don’t detest anyone who leaves them, but speaking from experience, I just toss them without a glance. Not too professional.

When there is a door hanger on my door, I seldom if ever read it. It usually just goes straight into the trash. The thought being that this is a cheap marketing method done by cheap companies.
