My understanding is that the grounded conductors are just as dangerous as the hot wires when they are wired incorrectly. Can someone answer why that is?
- They are current carrying when the circuit is in use.
- Terminals intended for a single conductor may result in a poor connection and excessive heat when more than one conductor are terminated.

Most likely not. Unless those terminals are listed for two conductors (not likely) it’s a violation.
