I guess I am paranoid as to every time a house blows up in my area from a
gas explosion I go check my records to see If I inspected the home???
My question is I observed a dresser coupling under a crawl space on a two story duplex 1-1/2 inch gas supply this compression coupling has neoprene seals. Did not observe the WOG symbols on this fitting and it makes me nervous. All I can find in my 2000 code book for single and double residence dwellings is that compression fittings are allowed IF THEY ARE RATED. Any comments would be appreciated.
