Dropping in to say "Hello" from NY

Hi everyone. I have not been a member for very long but I fairly recently received my NY license. I’m also in the process of performing as many practice inspections as possible to really get my feet wet. I just wanted to simply drop in and say hello. So far the forum posts have been very insightful and it’s obvious that I have so much to learn before I even consider taking on paying clients. Anyway, I wish everyone a great day!

Welcome to the forum and to the career Michael. I am on the opposite side of the state but always around here trying to help out the best I can. Good luck with your new endeavor.

Hi, Micheal. Welcome to the forum!
All I can say is Vote for Joe Biden in November whether you are in New Mexico, New York or New Hampshire. Go on some ride alongs and great to have you on the MB.

Perfect, Michael! That will be a great help.

Michael if you are looking for ride alongs, contact some CMIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, of your area and communicate with them. Maybe one will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring.

P.S. Welcome to our forum. Enjoy!

Hi Larry, thank you for the advice. I totally understand the mentality of “training your competition.” My former career as a Sys. Admin. was the same. Thank you for the links - I will be sure to put it to good use!
