Dual purpose boiler question

I probably should know this, but I need some info on how a dual purpose boiler works.

The system ran the in-floor heat and also provided the hot water for the home use. I was a bit confused trying to figure out how it keeps the water temp for home use at 105, but heats higher for the in-floor heat. I saw no temp. control at the tank (or energy source for that matter). Any literature would be helpful for the next time I run into one.

These systems use a mixing valve that brings the water to a lower tempature for the in-floor heating. Hot water from the boiler is mixed with the return water from the in-floor loop and cooled to the desired tempature.

So, I am assuming that you have to set the mixing valve to adjust the temp. of the hot water? i
