Why not?? It looks just fine to me…except it could use a little more duck tape.

…and maybe some baling wire…I’ve always like that stuff.

Kroger makes a good vapor barrier into their bags!

You can easily do minor duct repairs yourself, although it is always best that seal and insulate ducts be done by a professional. You should check your ducts for any kind of air leaks. A well sealed vapor barrier should be present on the outside of the insulation of cooling ducts to stop moisture condensation. Getting the ac repair done by a professional is always helpful.
